Fellowship, service, ethical standards, advancement of international understanding, commitment—these are some of the many aspects of Rotary.  I welcome you to our website and invite you to explore how the Rotary Club of the Virginia Peninsula engages its member’s participation in these areas.

Our club has a strong involvement with education in a spectrum that begins with elementary school and continues through the university level.  Our communities include not only the Peninsula but also our Rotary District and international service.  Locally, we support An Achievable Dream in Newport News and Star Achievers Academy in Hampton, The Boundless Playground in Newport News, the Salvation Army, and endowed scholarships at Christopher Newport University and Thomas Nelson Community College.  Internationally, we have done several projects in Costa Rica working with our friends in the Escazu Rotary.  We also host, educate and entertain Rotary Exchange Students and Group Study Exchange team members.

During the year we have socials that promote family fun and further develop friendships; district conferences to learn more about Rotary and to meet other Rotarians and to increase our Rotary awareness and knowledge.  Our weekly meetings provide dynamic speakers who inform us about current and future issues of interest for our area.

Please join us for a meeting on Wednesday at Noon at the Holiday Inn in Hampton.  If you are looking for a place to meet some outstanding citizens and participate in projects to better serve our community, and find a place where you can develop long-standing friendships, our Club is made for you!

You are welcome at the Virginia Peninsula Rotary Club.
