The venue for the seminar was the Paul and Rosemary Trible Library on the CNU campus. The eponymous Dick Summerville, although he kept a low profile, was obviously a popular guy. In this photograph are members of four different area Rotary Clubs--a total of six clubs were represented at the seminar. The CNU Rotaract Club handled the check-in, in addition to being a sponsor of the seminar and a participant in the planning. Greg Richardson gave an introductory talk to the seminar participants. Bill Brauer, Executive Vice President of CNU (and a member of the James City County Rotary Club) gave the keynote address.
After the first plenary session, the seminar separated into three breakout sessions to discuss various aspects of leadership. The breakout teams each presented their work to the reassembled seminar. Greg, as the seminar's facilitator, led the wrap-up discussions.
